Works well on a small suburban lot. Have made many contacts with this antenna

Purchased the EFHW 4010-2K a while back and finally got it installed a few weeks ago. The antenna is extremely well-designed and well-built, performing significantly better than the Chameleon EMCOMM II it replaced. I decided to purchase the corresponding wire assembly just in case something went wrong during the installation process, but everything went without a hitch. Still, it’s good to have a backup available just in case a tree branch falls or something else unforeseen happens to the original wire assembly in the future. Thanks for making such superb products Danny – 73! K7KDE

I found that the quality of the product is first rate and when I installed it with my homemade 49:1transformer it was right on with respect to SWR. We also have very high winds and storms here in Arizona’s high country and this product has survived all of those events. Great product!

Replace wire assembly that had been in the Florida sun and survived several storms. Worked great, just like the original wire. Shipped quickly and installed with upgraded hardware. Thanks

I purchased the EFHW-4010 wire assembly to replace my existing wiring. It had become hopelessly entangled in my oak tree during a storm. Removing the existing wiring and attaching this new wiring was an extremely easy fix. To my surprise there did not need to be any trimming required. I prefer my antenna to resonate in the CW portion of the bands and as delivered it had very low SWR at the bottom end of each of the 4 bands. If you prefer to operate in the SSB portions you may want to remove a few inches.
My existing 5 star review of my EFHW-4010-1K antenna on eHam attests to my total pleasure with its results over the last 7 years. I have logged approximately 65,000 QSOs with this antenna.
