EFHW-7510-LP- 250W
Portable or Stationary Multi-Band End Fed Half Wave Antenna/
This is a 250W version of the popular EFHW-7510-2K+ End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW*) antenna for 80/40/30/20/17/15/12 and 10m bands. Featuring an optimized MEF-130-LP transformer with an average insertion loss of only -0.4 dB (~9% loss) compared to similar products on market with insertion loss as high as -1.5dB (~30% loss). Unlike many END FED antennas on the market, this one does not require the Antenna Tuner to operate. Check the 75M band coverage SWR chart below.
*This is perfect antenna for ALE HF-link stations, NVIS, MARS, ARES, EMCOMM etc.
Various installations such as horizontal, vertical, inverted V, inverted L, etc. are possible. Measured VSWR in the gallery are taken with the antenna horizontal at 25 feet above the ground, your values could vary with the way and height of installation.
- NO TUNER is needed!
- NO counterpoise is needed!
- Frequency coverage: 3.5-30MHz
- Resonant on 80/40/30/20/17/15/12 and 10M
- Wire length ~130 feet
- Power Handling: 250W I.C.A.S
- Digital Modes, FT8 100W max.

I’ve had this for a while and finally managed to install it last week. Propagation was lousy for a few days but, now that it has improved, I can see it is a real performer. I have the feedpoint end up about 20 feet and the far end at about 35 feet. On 80 meters, it performs basically as an NVIS antenna in my configuration which is suitable for my use. On higher frequencies, it performs well for regional comms as well as DX. I’m well pleased with this antenna and would not hesitate to recommend it. Ivan VE7IVN

My first deployment of this lightweight antenna. I have the larger heavier version of this installed in my QTH and it is the most wonderful antenna I have ever owned. So I decided to try the lightweight one if I had to deploy. So on.8 April 2024 I decided to take it and deployed it during the eclipse going over Ashdown Arkansas. on the edge of the lake. It is lightweight and easily deployed version. It handles 250 W, but I was only using 20 Watts. I easily deployed it only 8 feet above the ground attached it at each end 8 feet up to trees. I supported the middle up and tied to a tree 8 feet up. As I mainly do NVIS. I connected it to my xiegu G90. I was not prepared for how wonderful the antenna was going to work. I was blown away. Everything was crystal clear. I was easily able to do make Winlink connections to any station I wanted on 40 and 80 m all within 350 miles of my deployed QTH. I also did peer to peer winlink on 40 m with Texarkana. Which is about 25 miles away by ground waves and it worked absolutely perfect to send information back-and-forth. The connections were quiet and crystal clear. I cannot believe how well this worked deploying it was so easy only 8 feet above the ground doing NVIS. If I could give this Antenna ten stars I would do it, but I’m only allowed to give it five stars of wonderful approval. That Antenna matched with my lightweight Xiegu G90 was a match made in heaven to deploy easily.

I’ve hit California. I’ve hit France. I’ve hit BrazilTexas numerous times Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania you have made my day so thank you for putting out such a great product. I recommended to anybody to send the ham radio.

Great antennas made with quality materials. Excellent engineering. Deployed this antenna as an NVIS radiator at 10 feet with excellent success.

Overall, a good antenna for MW, SW, and HF.

I use this as my primary antenna and have not been disappointed. It has brought me a few first place finishes in contests, ( in my category ). The only minor issue has been performance on the lowers bands. It is not as sensitive on 40 & 80 as it is on 20 an above.

Its been up for over a year and still works well.

My antenna works great you can catch me sometimes after midnite thru 2:00 AM in the morning Central Time on the 3916 LSB known as the Afterglow group. I’m running a Icom-746 Pro, and the antenna works easily with all the bands.
