EFHW-4010-LP- 250W
Portable or Stationary Multi-Band End Fed Half Wave Antenna/
This is a 250W version of the popular EFHW-4010-1K+ End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW*) antenna for 40/20/15/ and 10m bands. Featuring an optimized MEF-130-LP transformer with an average insertion loss of only -0.4 dB (~9% loss) compared to similar products on market with insertion loss as high as -1.5dB (~30% loss). Unlike many END FED antennas on the market, this one does not require the Antenna Tuner to operate. It is a resonant Half wave on 40m (7.1MHz) and therefore also resonant on second, third, fourth, etc. harmonics. 
*This is perfect antenna for ALE HF-link stations, NVIS, MARS, ARES, EMCOMM etc.
Various installations such as horizontal, vertical, inverted V, inverted L, etc. are possible. Measured VSWR in the gallery are taken with the antenna horizontal at 25 feet above the ground, your values could vary with the way and height of installation.

*Grounding of the coaxial cable at the radio side is recommended for the protection of your equipment from an electrostatic buildup in order to prevent ESD- electrostatic discharge.

Took a hot minute to get it high enough to get an acceptable swr, but I got it. It’s about 11-15 feet off the ground in an L configuration. Began picking up signals right away and made a contact on 40m ssb soon after. For the price it’s hard to beat. Just be patient, it can take a minute to get it right.

Well made and easy installation. In addition to designed 40m through 10m, I can tune 80m and 6m using a tuner. Perfect for HOA restricted neighborhoods. Highly recommend MyAntennas.

End Fed 40 – 10 meter Half wave connected to Elecraft K4 w/ 10:1 auto antenna tuner. Antenna is hung from 3 ft wooden dowels standing off from my rain gutters, only up about 13 feet. Makes a jog around, not in a strait line. Never trimmed, hung as delivered. Works on all bands as advertised!

I decided to purchase this antenna because I was looking for a multiband antenna that was economical. The no tuner needed was the main selling point. I’ve been using it for a few months now and could not be anymore pleased with its performance with contacts on 40m,20m, 15m & 10m. I have the xfmr end mounted on a tower leg at 40 feet with the end of the wire tied to a tree about 20 feet up. BTW the first attempt to use it I made a contact on 20m and received a Q5 signal report with Switzerland running 100 watts.

Worked perfect first time and every time. Use it FT992a and the internal tuner keeps the SWR below 2 now matter what.

Fantastic antenna and does everything it states. I had a bad lightning arrestor and Danny was willing to answer my questions on figuring that out together with some good advise on tuning. I would highly recommend this product. Was able to make contacts from my home in Denver to Argentina, and Japan with in the first few days. Very pleased.

Very happy with this product. I live in a HOA restricted neighborhood and can’t have a large antenna system. This one is small enough that I’m under the radar. I can get 10m, 15m, 17, 20m, and 40m, with internal tuner in the radio. With an external tuner I can add 6m, and 80m. It’s doing a great job.

Connected to Icom 7300 running 20W-100W, sloped from 20′ to 10′ (HOA hidden). After a year of use it continues to be my primary antenna for this radio. Primary uses are AM/FM/FT4/FT8 with over 1k contacts. Very happy.

For some reason the review harvester thinks I bought the low power 10-40M EFHW antenna. That is not correct. I have the 75-10M full power model. And I LOVE IT! Bought it as a hedge against an ice storm or high winds damaging my hex beam in the winter when it is more difficult to do antenna repair work. I have been amazed at the excellent signal reports I get with the MyAntennas EFHW. Exceeds expectation and the SWRs are spot on. Highly recommend this antenna. Great value and extremely cost effective!!

I have to say having used this antenna for a year now I highly recommend it. It has served me very well in the field when I do POTA activations. It is currently my go-to EFHW antenna. The SWR readings have been as low as 1.01 and it has performed very well. The setup I use is with a tripod, a piece of pvc pipe and a spiderbeam. I recommend this antenna to anyone doing field activations or working a base station at home with 100watts. It truly is a great antenna. Thank you MyAntennas!!

I bought and installed this in December 2024, to replace my first HF antenna, a Nelson random wire which had provided three years of good service in a less than ideal location. But I wanted something that would work better on higher frequencies. After spending weeks researching end-fed antenna options, I chose the MyAntennas, which is about 12 feet longer than the Nelson, and electrically longer yet with its inductor coil. I set it up as an inverted V, as had been the Nelson, both ends being about 8 feet off the ground, and the peak being some 33 feet, attached with MyAntenna’s excellent pulley to a no longer available MFJ fiberglass telescoping tower. To cut to the chase, the results with my Yaesu FT-991A are a revelation. I am picking up stations that I never before could, and my signal is getting out loud and clear. The workmanship of this product is superb and the performance is excellent, plus, it is not obtrusive. A great choice.
