EFHW-7510-2K 2000W Multi-Band End Fed Half Wave Antenna

This is an End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW*) antenna for 75/40/30/20/17/15/12 and 10m bands. Unlike many END FED antennas on the market, this one does not require the Antenna Tuner to operate.

*This is perfect antenna for  NVIS, MARS, ARES, EMCOMM etc.

Various installations such as horizontal, vertical, as inverted V, as inverted L etc. are possible. Measured VSWR in the gallery are taken with the antenna in an inverted L shape with the vertical side of 30 feet and a horizontal part remains at 30 feet above the ground. Your SWR values could vary with way and height of installation.

  • NO TUNER needed!
  • NO counterpoise needed! (Grounding recommended*)
  • Frequency coverage: 3.5-30MHz
  • Resonant on 75/40/30/20/17/15/12/10m
  • Wire length ~133 feet
  • Power Handling: 2kW I.C.A.S
  • Stainless Steel hardware
  • Stealth #14 AWG black XLPE wire
  • Connector: Silver/Teflon SO-239

*Grounding at the transformer box or end of the coaxial cable is recommended for protection of your equipment from an electrostatic buildup in order to prevent ESD- electrostatic discharge.

NOTE: grounding does not affect antenna tuning. If the transformer box is installed high above the ground , there is no need to route the ground wire from the box, instead just ground the coaxial cable at the entrance to your home or at the station.

Optional Installation plate for poles

  1. David

Works very well with my 7300. Up at one end at 10 feet and the other at 25 ft (coax fed end). Not in the permanent spot yet still works great. SWR as described. 7300 tunes it well 10-75. Right on the money on 75 SWR in the middle of the phone band.
Nice job on the design! Solidly built and looks like it last a long time. 73,

With a solid state amp, your SWR has to be pretty much on the money. I mostly operate SSB Phone and I didn’t want to hassle with an external tuner every time I changed bands. This antenna fit the bill perfectly for me. I am impressed with the product. I also own the 8010 and the 4010 EFHW fo my “Go Kit” for portable operations and could not be happier with the product or the results in the logbook.

I have just received this antenna in the mail. Upon opening the box, it’s clear where the extra cost comes from. This antenna is a thing of beauty. The fit and finish is impeccable. Even the edges of the small coil have been deburred. The capacitor section has been completely encased in the sealing-type heat shrink. Every joint has a wire thimble. I would bet this antenna and all its components will outlast me! I can’t wait to get it elevated and on the air! Don K7BA

The antenna works well on 75 and 80meters. I get a 1.2 to1 on 75 and 80 meters. Good antenna, quiet, and good swr.

Fine business; moved from former QT; had to leave my former Buckmaster; New upper Mi. A I needs a antenna; will likely give your fine looking offering the nod

This is an awesome antenna! I put mine in some trees in the back yard, and it’s super stealthy. It’s hard for me to find it. Works as advertised. Super low SWRs – less than 1.5:1, and 1:1 on 40 and 20. I run my IC-7300 through it, and I made contact with a guy from Slovenia today (I’m in Georgia, US). I’ll definitely come back when I can’t resist the MPAS 2.0 anymore!

I’ve been an Advanced Class Ham for over 45 years. I decided I needed a backup antenna in case of difficulties with one or more of my other antennas. Put up the 7510-2K and it absolutely works as advertised. VSWR was less than 2:1, 75 thru 10 meters on all of the frequencies I normally work. I never would have believed it but it really does work.

    Hi Danny,
Just wanted to let you know that your antenna is working great. I can hear stations on our 75 meter nets that I have never heard before, and as for getting out, I am getting many reports on all nets that my signal has went from S-3 to S-20.
I worked all 13 Colonies very successfully with contacts on 80-40-&-20 meters.
Thank you for a great product.

  9. William Barrett

Works very well. I’m very happy with it.
    (Model 7510 2K)
Strung up between two trees in a flat top manner about 25 feet up on both ends.

    It. Just. Works.

First worked this 75-10 antenna portable at Glacier National Park and hit several CA stations immediately. Since then have worked 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10. Balun mounted on second story of home, terminal end at 35′ in tree. Works like magic. 5/9’s all day and night fed by an FT-991A barefoot at 100w.
